Only hand selected Spanish calfskins are used to produce the El Casco Leather collection. The tanning of the leather is a natural process during which the hides remain soaked for between 35 and 40 days in a water-and-tree-bark-solution, which is free from any aggressive chemical substances. Leather tanned by this process impresses with its natural matt sheen, its smooth touch and soft fragrance. Specialised craftsmen use their traditional skills to transform every piece into a masterpiece of their art. Used everyday the leather will attain a luxurious patina over the years. El Casco leather is a statement of a lifestyle, of harmony and stability, in constantly changing times. The Document tray features a removable cover. Both the inside of the cover and the tray are lined with El Casco marked fabric, which complements the colour of the leather. Beautiful, luxurious and yet unobtrusive.
