Not only providing them with money but being able to send and receive notes, and such. Also, if there are opportunities for me to actually physically help these kids in my spare time by volunteering. For instance the commercial that aired in Australia...The blacks were waving Jamaican flags watching, of all things SOCCER, yet they were stereotyped for like Kentucky Fried Chicken...At least give them the proper stereotype..If there are any " black stereotypes" it would be Africans since they make up like 85 % of all the blacks in the world..I have not met one African American who watches soccer, and I dont have not met one Jamaican crazy about fried chicken.. I mean, seroiusly its getting stupid now..Im proud of my heritage but at least apply it the right people.Mexicans are stereotyped for being illegals, not Puerto Ricans. Thier both " hispanics" ..This is what I mean by cultural laziness.

Greetings. I reside in Canada. In my years of growing I have never ever experienced any form of racism, at all. I've traveled to Europe many times to many countries U.K, Netherlands, Sweden, Germany and I can safely say the natives and the general public have received me well and I never thought my race to be a hindrance. Can't the same for America. The few times I've been there I've actually noticed that people openly talk about race and stereotypes, even when it is offensive. I, myself have been subject to a few racial slurs that I just ignored. It's shocking how people there link everything to race. Why is this? I've always thought it to be as diverse and multicultural as Canada and a " melting pot" and yet people still openly talk about race and link everything to race. On average do you think Americans in general are more racist or more " racially aware" ?
