The last of Henry's wives; a beautiful and cultured lady, who soothed and entertained Henry in his last years. She was a lady of learning and was probably one of the first women to read the bible in English. A tress of long, dark red hair is still preserved at Sudeley Castle, her family home.

Catherine Parr is an elegant 23 inch doll dressed in a beautiful period style costume consisting of a full skirted dark green plush velvet. The front panel is of black and gold brocade. The high neck is trimmed with a white lace ruff which matches her cuffs. The bodice is trimmed with gold braid, rosettles and a gold pendant. This superb outfit is finished off with a period style head dress of dark green velvet trimmed with gold and black lace veil. As an accessory she carries in her hand a small white bible.
